Converge ICT Switcher Promo


We thought switching to PLDT Fiber would solve our internet speed problems. It did for a while but it came to a point that certain sites, like Canva, wouldn't load at all.

It was so frustrating that we grabbed the chance to avail of the Converge ICT Switcher promo. The freebies of 3 months were a perk but we were just happy with a faster internet speed that met our needs.

Thankfully, our Converge Account Officer helped us process our application. It was approved after five days. And now, we are so happy with the internet speed because we can now do our work in a timely manner.

Antipolo Jeep Plays Offensive Music (Ire)

On my way to Philhealth Rizal at Sta. Lucia, I rode an Antipolo jeep, which had one of those blaring sound systems. Barely a few minutes into the ride, the driver chose to play a song that repeatedly chanted, "P-tang ina." As the song progressed, the lyrics degenerated to lines that contained the words: k-ntutan, itlog, etc. Although he has the right to listen to music that he enjoys, I think that right overlaps with other people when it's being played in public. So when the jeep stopped to take on passengers, I slid to the front, tapped the driver on the shoulder, and told him, "Kuya, ang bastos-bastos." He immediately caught on to what I meant and changed the music.

Hi Top Supermarket Stores Yakult Bottles Out of Chiller (Ire)

I informed Yakult Philippines via their FB page that I passed by Hi Top Supermarket on Aurora Blvd. in Quezon City and found several Yakult products, numbering more than a hundred, on top of a  regular shelf near the ice cream section. When I questioned the shelf filler supervisor, he informed me impatiently that that's where they put all the Yakult that cannot fit in the chiller, as if it was a regular practice. I reminded him that Yakult is sensitive to temperature, and all the lactobacilli in the bottles on the shelf were probably dead. Receiving no assurance that the damaged Yakult products would not be sold to the public, I repeated my observation to a Customer Care representative and someone (who looked like he was) from management. However, my story was met both times with a blank stare, and I'm afraid of the sudden flurry of movement by staff from the ice cream section to the overflowing Yakult chiller.
